Found some random photos of me and Sally hanging out at the store and I thought I'd share these with you guys.

PS. These Momotaro Type I and II jackets are some pretty sexy stuff

Found a new spot for photoshoots ft. Baby Face Sally

I'd always driven by this area of Gastown but never really had a chance to explore it on foot. I don't even know how many photos there are typically on a blog post, but for me, the more the better–especially when you discover a dope place for photos like this one, and a baby-face model like Sally!

Japan Blue Cusual

The Herringbone Shop Coat from Japan Blue is some pretty good stuff. It gives you that 'effortless' look by just throwing it on top of anything–be it a t-shirt, a buttondown, or even a hoodie! Detailed and well-crafted in Japan, the beige herringbone shop coat is slightly on the lighter side in term of weight, but it makes a pretty sophisticated overcoat on top of a heavyweight inner garment like a thick sweatshirt.

3Sixteen Flannel + Momotaro Denim Combo

Yesterday we received another partial shipment from 3Sixteen–and was it some pretty good stuff! A few pieces we got from our friend from New York, but this Flannel Workshirt is easily my favorite. Last year was my first introduction to the popular 'Shaggy' flannel from the brand and I ensure you that this Japanese flannel will never let you down.

The Superior Labor Small Engineer Shoulder Bag got me going bananas

Since we got a new carpet at the store, I thought we might as well just have some fun with the photos. Featuring the one and only bag/packpack brand that we currently have in, The Superior Labor is some next level stuff. The (super)heavyweight Kurashiki canvas is out of this world; produced in Okayama, Japan. Individually handpainted and silkscreened, this version of  Small Engineer Bag got the classic Red White Blue stripes on it.

Snuggy Trench Coat from Rogue

The new midlength coat from the RGT is more snuggy than it looks–with slim silhouette on the body and arms, the interior from the back to your butt is lined with charcoal wool-nylon blend blanket (finished with traditional stitching), and the sleeves are lined with classy, shiny satin.

The Famous Thunderbird Can Fly

Yes, these famous Thunderbird Cowichan Sweaters from Kanata can really fly–out the store. The Thunderbird Cowichan chunky knit sweater, without any exaggeration, is easily one of the best patterns that we offer here at Niftydo Gastown and oversea at the Seoul store, and they don't get to sit around on the shelf for too long as they'd get picked up by their righteous owners within days (if not hours online)!

Mission for NiftyDo Seoul

Today I got a special mission from NiftyDo Seoul to take photos of the New York Cowichan Sweater from Kanata today. This particular style is only available at the Seoul store at the moment but DM me if ya dig it ;)

Apparently our good customers in Korea picked 10 of these sweaters up in less than a minute after launching the item on the Korean blog.

Momotaro Going To Battle Fit

Feeling like a f*cking samurai today in the GTB–Going To Battle–top and bottom. The denim on these bad boys are 15.7 oz HANDPICKED Zimbabwe cotton. And because the two pieces are made from Zimbabwe cotton, they are heavyweight but soft as hell. The jacket is even softer as it's "ocean-soaked" one-wash denim!

Merry Co. Tee on a lady ft. The Superior Labor Shoulder Bag

Recently there's been a number of ladies (a big number, I may add) who support and pick up a whole bunch of t-shirts from us at the store–including these French Terry Long Sleeve tees from Merry Company. The tees don't fit so small to the point where they have the fitting of womenswear, but they definitely make a comfy little oversized top for the ladies!

Jay's having a show coming up in December and he's going for the 50's look. The man's been picking up all the pieces that we will be wearing for the show from us, thank you!

Derrick is looking sharp as f*ck in his new type-1 denim jacket from Momotaro Jeans. This guy is tall with a slender torso; he's usually in a Large for the most part, he snatched the type-1 jacket in size 42. Thank you, Derrick!

All things Okayama sh*t! ft. Momotaro / Japan Blue / Superior Labor (and RGT)

It's been HECTIC these past few days at the shop as the new FW16 are now flooding in–Don and I are trying our best to survive the workload and provide the best customer service and bring the best experiece to our beloved friends and customers both in-store and online!

Today was a good day. A very good day, actually. "Why", you may ask. Because it finally stopped raining(not really)! I'd been dying to bring all these new arrivals out–Japanese brands like Momotaro, Japan Blue, and Superior Labor–for quick snaps.

New vs Used orSlow denim ft. yakuza shirt

orSlow is known for their beautiful 13.5 oz original one-wash denim woven in Japan, but I'd have to say that we don't see a lot of photos of the well-aged, faded one. Here I got my personal 1960s Type 3 denim jacket and 107 Selvedge denim jeans on, paired up with the Black Japanese Print buttondown shirt–or what I'd like to call 'yakuza' shirt.

Damn Daniel, back at it again with the Christmas sweater!

These Double Deer Christmas sweaters from Kanata DESTROYED it last year–it has been that way since we brought in the brand 3 years ago. Here I got Queen B Berlina to try on the Cowichan sweater in size 40.

How Merry Co French Terry tee looks like on a lady

The French Terry Long Sleeve Tee from Merry Company is some pretty fine stuff. Once again we have Queen B trying on the long sleeve tee in size Small. Because these tees fit slightly slimmer, it looks perfect on her!
